Studying in Manchester with Arden
Our Manchester courses are held at one of our City Centre study centres, which can be found close to the city centre inside Linley House and Barlow House.
Our Centres are equipped with everything you need to spend your on-campus time wisely. Bright and roomy, the classrooms give you the chance to set up your device and access online materials while you’re in lessons or make notes on the lectures your tutor delivers. There’s also a large IT suite for you to get stuck into those study materials.
The library and breakout spaces are flexible to your needs, whether it’s somewhere to relax during a break, or a place to catch up on studies if you’ve been feeling distracted at home.
Our friendly Student Support Team can be found just down the corridor from your classroom, and are always happy to open their door to you, should you need someone to talk to.
The Surrounding Area
With the city centre just a few minutes’ walk from our Manchester study centres, the city really is your oyster! There are independent shops and restaurants alongside your favourite brands and chains, so why not try something new while you’re in the area?
If you’re searching for places to study in Manchester and fancy an impressive place to settle down to work, Manchester Central Library is open for public use until 8pm Monday to Thursday, and 5pm Friday and Saturday.
There are small squares and gardens scattered around the city for those who appreciate spending time outdoors. Alternatively, if you prefer a touch of retail therapy, the city’s largest shopping centre, Manchester Arndale, is a little over half a mile away on foot.
