Then our online learning courses offer you the chance to do just that. Plus, you’ll have the flexibility to create your own study schedule that fits around your personal and professional life.
If you’d prefer to attend lectures and tutorials at one of our study centres in London, Manchester, Birmingham or Berlin, then our blended learning courses build in two days a week of face-to-face tuition with your course tutor and classmates, complemented by around 25 hours of online study.
Whichever route you choose, you can continue to work alongside your studies, either full or part-time, to ensure that you don’t press pause while achieving your qualifications. With Arden you don't need to give up work or any other commitments to gain an internationally recognised, and professionally accredited qualification that can take you places.
What can I study?
Bachelor’s courses in criminology and law
If you’re just at the start of your career, our criminology and law bachelor’s courses provide a comprehensive overview of the core skills you’ll need to get your professional life headed in the right direction. With degree specialisations covering law, criminal justice, criminology, and combined degrees with business, pychology, and sociology, you’ll gain the specific knowledge you need to enter the industry that inspires you most.
LLB (Hons) with Qualifying Status
For those who already know what route they need to take into the legal profession, or aspiring lawyers and solicitors the LLB (Hones) with Qualifying Status will ensure students are immersed in the world of legal systems.
The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) have announced that, from autumn 2021, upon completion of this degree, those looking to become solicitors will be required to sit and pass two SQE exams and complete a two-year period of qualifying work experience.
Arden’s LLB (Hons) with Qualifying Status will continue to be accepted as enrolment onto the professional stage of both barristers’ and solicitors’ training.

Is a degree in criminology or law right for me?
