About the school
The School of Psychology and Social Science provides degree courses exploring human behaviours across these two key areas of social science, and is led by a team of highly experienced academics who are passionate about the subjects they teach. The School’s courses prepare you with a range of transferable skills that employers from a wide range of organisations will value.
We regularly review and update our psychology and social science course syllabuses to ensure that the topics you study are entrenched in the here and now. Led by Dr Gail Steptoe-Warren, the School’s team of academic staff are widely published across topics and disciplines that impact today’s society, including gender studies, cyberspace identities, crime and deviance, mental health and wellbeing, child psychology, and much more.
